What is this. It moves very slow and it looks like it's killing or eating my zoos. I want to remove but I want to make sure that it is bad before I do.

Somone on RC was looking for one of those. Do a search for sundial snail. He might pay you for it.

That's a heliacus snail (aka box snail). He'll mow through your zoos and won't look back. Kill it! Kill it!

Sure is, from the look of those zoos I would say it has already done in a number of them.

Yeah he's eatin alot of them already and I'm really ####ed bc I got that rock from www.liveaquaria.com and the snail came on it. I would call and yell at them about it but its been over a month since I had the rock with the killer snail.

Now I know where the hitchhiker went from the 22 lbs of Live Rock... ERRRRRRRR... CINDER BLOCKS I also purchased from them! :woot: :woot:

I have one of those too. He is a killer, I tossed him into the sump.

He really sucks the polyps dry.

I heard about this thread through the grapevine ... I am actively looking for sundial snails to help control my Zoo population.
