Refugium w/protein skimmer built in anyone?

HI all, I am in the process of putting a nano-reef tank together (5 gallon) for my office and I was looking on Ebay at the HOB type of refugiums. There is one that has a protein skimmer built into it. I was wondering if anyone here has one of those and their experience with it. Do they really work?, are they noisy?, do they add a lot of bubbles to the main tank?

I'm guessing it's something like that one. I've always heard they're crap. Plus water changes will suffice for the five gallon tank you're looking at doing.

Not sure if the link will display properly, anyhow the price isn't bad but if its crap then I will just get the refugium without the skimmer.

i would just get a small cpr aquafuge. much better quality.

i have one and it works great. I was impressed with the quality. i won't say it's just as good as the CPR but it's pretty close. However i don't think it will fit on a 5 gallon tank. The smallest would probably be a 10 gallon. I have the smaller one on my 20 and it is doing an awesome job. I'm in the process of designing a surface skimmer attachment for it. I'll post pictures once i finish making it.
