StrategicReef

Around $25 in parts (float switch not included), I built it in about 4 hours while standing and no real desk space.

Splcing into a phone jack, it will be configurable to support 3 float switches, 1 in tank, 2nd in tank for back up, and 3rd one is optional inside the reservoir if it runs too low.

Going to order the floatswitches from floatswitches.net

very nice! What are the specs on the relay? I've been hunting for something like this but never found the right relay.

why not setup a webcam to watch the water level. have the power source triggered by a phone call. call when it gets low and then hang up at an appropriate level. thats all that came up when i heard "Phone Jack". :P
