Jamie
A few weeks ago I bought a nice branching torch coral with three heads. It is doing well and seems to be very happy with its new tank. There is just one problem. In the very center of one of the heads there appears to be some sort of barnacle or possibly a small feather duster. The barnacle will open up to catch food, but in doing that is brushes against the tentacles of the torch coral causing them to retract. The torch coral is never allowed to be fully open. I am wondering If I should try to get rid of the barnacle, or if I should let it be and assume that the torch has lived with it for a while so it isn't really being damaged. Link to comment
