Do blueleg and scarlets molt?

Alright here is the question!

 

Do blueleg and scarlet reef hermits molt?

 

I ask this because everytime i see a hermits body in my tank that is dead and on my substrate i look around for an empty shell. Everytime i find that empty shell there tends to be a hermit still in there. It's weird. Today I thought two of my scarlets died cause their bodies are just floating around and then i find two empty shells. I move them around and BAM they're still in there.

 

So do bluelegs and scarlets molt?

All creatures with exoskeletons molt (that's the only way they grow).

Hermit crabs, emerald crabs, shrimps, etc.

Haha i've never seen a hermit molt but i guess that's common sense. Thanks for your help
