ccapasso
I just recently noticed this stringy looking algae with bubbles recently. It looks brown and seems to only be on snails, and corals. Nothing on substrate but there are a few pieces I've seen on rocks. I am able to blow it away with the turkey baster, but it seems to come back. What is it and how do I get rid of it? Could it simply be diatoms from adding a massive amount of snails for my CUC? Link to comment
patback
Emeralds are generally terrible for anything that can be blown with a Baster. What is on that plug? That string looks kind of like poop a little. Link to comment
ccapasso
Both frags are Acans. Maybe it is poop? Do snails poop that much? lol. BTW, I have 2 emerald crabs already. They don't touch this stuff. Link to comment
grmoore
Is it like snot? If so, it's dinoflagellates. Link to comment
