• So I need direction. This will be mix reef. Minimalist approach, as you can see. Sexy, yes.
  
• I've lurked and I found some cool DIY's for surface skimmers for HOB hagen filters, (keep it or lose it?). I use no mechanical filtration. Thought about using it as a refugium, but I am "eh" about fuges.
  
• it's going to be bare bottom.
  
• I will try to make a "Mame Protein Skimmer" style skimmer. possibly moving it into the HOB hagen "sump area" as not to clutter the tank.
  
• NO FISH.
  
• Oh this is one of those "finnex 4 gallon pico's" comes with a 25 watt CFL.
  
• Taking suggestions on lights as the CFL died, cant find a replacement.

nice rock, but throw a boostled bulb on there. you'll be able to grow just about anything in there with that.
