It'd probably have to grow more, or the OP would need a better picture, for a more conclusive ID(unless someone like John Maloney lays the ID smackdown). I'm betting $0.05 that it's a red algae of some sort. Link to comment

I'm betting $0.05 that it's a red algae of some sort. Most likely it is a red algae...Padina is a possibility, morphologically looks like Lobophora except that it is red, not brown. Udotea is also unlikely, the pics I see online are all green. As it grows I will take a better photo. Thanks for the help! Link to comment
