I have been doing freshwater all my life. tank 20g sump/refuge 10g from wallyworld rapids mini canister filter mini 115 protein skimmer eshops 350gph overflow generic 450 gph return pump koralia nano power head here is a fts before i got my koralia nano time is 1 week after live rock was introduced and 1 month after initial set up Link to comment

I will post more pics tonight. i have some caves and crevices for all the critters to forage and hide. I am starting to grow brown stuff on my glass and sand is that diatoms or algea? Link to comment

What type of lighting are you running? im running the wavepoint t5 ho with 2 12,000k and 2 460 nm actinics it lights up great. for my fuge i use a clamp on desk lamp with a par30 led from walmart. lights up great i have 2 led moon lights as well. no icebergs, no russia, and no damn snow either. who knew that kodiak was a rain forest. this winter the low temp average was like 43f and our lowest temp was 7f. dosent get very cold here. 2 more years and im off to a new unit. cant wait Link to comment
