I see 70 views on this so I know there is some interest. I don't know of anyone who makes black sch 40 or 80.

Although you will find grey.

i have never seen black pvc pipe and I am a plumber. The closest you will get is a vry dark grey pvc and most plumbing suppliers should carry some. It comes in schedule 40 and schedule 80.

So that can be used inside the tank as well? I've been wondering about that.

Yea im a plumber as well. Schedule 80 is a dark charcoal gray color. Electricians pvc conduit is a lighter gray color and schedule 40. Schedule 80 pipe fits in 40 fittings the outside diameter is the same fyi.

I just came accross a 1" elbow from Spears that is black I got this from Glass Cages yesterday. Spears is a big name in plumbing so I'll check further.

the lfs, i was just at, had all there tanks plumbed with black pvc. damn should have asked, but next time im in i'll find out.

They have most PVC fittings in black.
