dj.direct.current
Hey everyone, After purchasing a picotope from my local LFS, I started doing some research on how to make the best out of it as this is the 1st salt water tank I have ever had. So I'm glad I found this forum and of course a big thanks to everyone in the community for all of their advice. Here is day one... 2 weeks later purchased a ac70 w/ mod, some live rock & cheato 1 month later I could afford the satellite and some zoanthids as well as some purple mushrooms 2 months later.. Currently I have acan, yellow polyps, zoanthids (ring of fire, alien eyes), purple/green striped mushrooms, yellow sponge that came with the mushrooms and yes you saw it...a green bubble anenome. Luckily he has anchored down and loves his spot. Hope you guys enjoy the pics & I'll be updating w/ pics..hopefully better ones so that you can see the progress.. Link to comment

dj.direct.current
Just picked up a nano fuge light. A little expensive bu worth it as it attaches very clean. Also it allows no light to the main tank on reverse ligthting. Link to comment

.Newman.
I don't get why the original JBJ 9 watt light didn't do well enough for you guys for your refugiums? Tank looks awesome with those corals, but maybe you could fit that Hydor Theo into the fuge? it's kinda distracting... Also I'm glad to see that the coralife digital thermo is working well for you. mine broke for w/e reason on the third day and I just went with a regular glass thermometer (I put that into the fuge as well) Link to comment
driftsaru
I don't get why the original JBJ 9 watt light didn't do well enough for you guys for your refugiums? honestly its a great light but my pice is in my bedroom, and its still too distracting when its on at night over the AC 70, i need one for wet application if i ever decide to make a fuge.
