stvjohnsn Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 I'm getting started with an LED retro for my new BC14, and I'm going to pretty much copy Waterproof's design. My question is this: Is 22awg stranded wire sufficient for all of the DC wiring in that project? Even running from the project box up to the canopy? I have some 8 conductor 22awg cable that would make for a clean way to power the lights, fans, etc. Would it be OK to use? Link to comment
evilc66 Posted September 12, 2009 Share Posted September 12, 2009 22awg will be fine from LED to LED, and LED to the Buckpuck, but I would use upwards of 18awg for the connection between the power supply and the Buckpuck. Link to comment
