Coral eating coral

Here's a picture of my green scolemia eating my kenya tree!!

 

For those of you that are wondering, the white strands are coming out of the scoly and they're called mesenterial filaments, which are actually part of the corals digestive system. They can be used for aggression and as you can see are also used to "assimilate" encroaching corals. Turns out that this happened over the course of about an hour.

 

To remedy the issue I just trimmed the kenya tree and now it's fine...
