i got a mini colony for 40 bucks at one lfs. the other day i went to a different lfs and they sell them for 80 dollars a head. they are the "ultra" kind. the one in the pic would be considered that by this lfs. crazy. i talked to them about what a steal i got and the guy was like "do they know what they sold you?"

yeah i know it doesnt quite match the other rocks. im thinking about looking for a new rock to put there that matches better.

Nice tank start! I like the rock in the upper left. I would leave it and just get something that has some height like some clove polyps or xenia and fill the spot on the right. Asymetrical is not a bad thing. I have a similiar effect in my own tank.

i have a rock in the sump thats going there on the right after the shot glass comes out of the tank. the coraline rock on the right is going where the shot glass is.
