Tank: $10 Eheim Liberty HOB Filter: $20 12" 24W PL Fixture: $15 Live Sand: $10 Live Rock (2kg): $6.50 Thermometer: $1.50 Natural Sea Water (for seeding): $0.65 2 x Snails: $2.00 5 x Sexy Shrimps: $10 Total: $75.65 First of all let me explain. I will tag along..illegally I hope this thread will not get deleted as its so illegal Here are the 2 pieces of live rock I bought today... not much room for scaping actually The tank is filled up entirely with natural sea water (bought from LFS) I think I need a coloured background to cover the HOB filter The PL tube is so wrong right now... 8000K Will get it replaced soon. jervismun Posted September 24, 2008 Author Share Posted September 24, 2008 An interesting discovery... or maybe my trusted Ammonia monitor is playing tricks on me After dumping in the live sand, natural sea water and 2kg of live rock (not entire cycled, fresh from LFS)... Ammonia is NOT at dangerous level Normally, the monitor will show "ALERT" in 1 day old tank. Anyway it's good news Link to comment
