o0xerog0o
Here we go... finally a thread on my first reef tank that's been running since January. I bought the tank on sale at Wal*Mart, the sand cam from my buddy, as does my water. I upgraded from the stock lighting by cutting the hood to accommodate a 27W PC bulb, which has done wonders for my corals... Current inhabitants are: - 2 Ric. Florida's - Ric Yuma - Toadstool - 3 Long Polyp Leathers - Pulsing Xenia - Kenya's - 4 different types of Zoa's - Asst. Shrooms (green, red, white, striped) - Anthelia - Green Star Polyps - Yellow Watchman Goby "The Gobe-ster" - 2 Nassarius snails - Blue-Legged Hermit - Asterina Stars - Feather Duster - 4" of live sand - Somewhere between 3-5 lbs. of live rock Here's some shots that I took today after work... One day I'll have a nicer camera to get some better shots, but for now, this is all you get. And I'm posting this picture to show the Gobester. This was an old layout that was just too cluttered for my liking. Also, a good shot of the possibly sick zoa's. I'm trying to find some Furan-2 to dip them in and hopefully get them in good health again... Let me know what you think, and also check out my 30 gallon vvv Link to comment
o0xerog0o
UPDATE I came home today to notice that there are two mouths forming on my Ric. Yuma. IMO- It looks to be splitting! I'm pretty excited about it seeing as how I only spent $5 at the Cleveland swap for this piece, and one and a half weeks later, he's turning into two! Link to comment
o0xerog0o
Thanks! I wish I had a better camera, one with a macro lens, and I also wish the acrylic didn't make everything look so cloudy, but oh well... Link to comment
o0xerog0o
As long as I can remember, I'll try to take daily pictures of the yuma and record it's split-cycle. This is gonna be neat! Link to comment
