Sweet rockwork indeed, tons of potential with lots of ledges to add coral too and good scale making the tank look larger than it is.

Grab all those wires at the back and tie them together so that they hang behind the refugium part for that clean front to back look that this tanks design provides.

Actually I like your rockwork a lot better Sandeep, you did inspire me to do the whole thing though :P

It's around a month old, but I used "cured" liverock, live sand and rubble. So it really only did a soft cycle, I have been testing pretty regularly to be sure.

I need a better camera, they all look a little out of focus, but on the little lcd screen they looked good...

I also think I need to take out a rock, I think the top one, as I've got about 9lbs between the LR and Rubble, and it's just too much in the display.

Thanks for the compliments though!

Slight update;

Both Orange Turbos died mysteriously...

I traded the Conch off, it was just too big in there, and kept knocking my corals over...

So my stock list is now;

2 Scarlet Hermits

1 Sexy Shrimp

1 Porcelain Crab

2 Cerith Snails

2 Nassarius Snails

1 Margarita Snail

1 Presumed Dead Tonga Rhodactis

1 Unhappy, 2 Ok Hairy Mushrooms

1 Purple/Blue Spot Mushroom

2 Small Loose Red Mushrooms

1 Pink Duncan

3 Heads of Green Ora Duncan

Several Blue with Green/Brown Skirt Zoanthids

Blue Anthelias

  • 2 weeks later...

You got lots of nice zoas there.

A word of caution though... look out for the sexy shrimp. It's known to eat zoas. Well, at least mine did. Some people said it won't eat zoas if you feed it a lot. I feed mine with mysis shrimp but it still went for the zoas in the end. Just my two cents.
