Yep...there are plenty of tanks like that. Unfortunately, the keepers are usually eager to provide advice to anybody willing to listen. And since many people like the look of such a tank, newbies often listen to them.

 

I'm waiting for the red sea max 130D 24 months video to come out.

sounds like your implying that if someone owns a red sea max- they have no clue. how many years your V2 been running now? I have a red sea that is going on 3 years now- looks awesome- of course I have modded it over the last couple years- I started reef keeping back in 1990- how many years experience do you have at reef keeping? of course I dont pipe in much on peoples systems- but, to each their own. everyone has a different way to skin a cat- ask a million reef keepers a reef keeping question and get a million and one answers to the same question. there are many of us red sea owners that might learn something from you- then again- there are many of us that might teach a thing or two too.

Not at all. It's a very cool tank. I know a number of experienced reef keepers that use them. Many of their tanks I would love to call my own. I'm referring to it being overstocked with unsuitable fish (which looks cool, but is not very responsible and will likely develop problems over time).

Not as many as you, but I've kept a number of tanks for several years.
