Post Your Nano Pump Upgrades

What pumps are you guys using to upgrade your stock pumps.

 

I purchased some 1/2" loc-line with a y adapter and another flow nozzle to provide more flow in my nano however the stock 160gph pump was reduced down to a trickle after adding the loc-line.

 

I switched to a Hydor Pico 300 and even tried a hydor flo and the pico will barely push water.

 

I ordered a Maxi-jet 900 but I'm wondering if it will cause vibration because there is no suction cup for the bottom of the pump.

 

I've been looking at the Tunze 1073.008 203gph and an Eheim.

 

Post your pump and if you're using an MJ how do you stop vibration?

I upgraded the stock pump in my IM 25 lagoon with a sicce 1.5. Love it, super quiet, effiecient, low heat.

I use the MJ900 it doesn't vibrate. Sometimes I have to check if the tanks even running its so dead quiet. My skimmer when it's on is the only sound you can hear.

I am having heat issues with my mj1200 in my lagoon 25. I just ordered a jebao dc1200 to replace it.

Aqueon AQ1200 upgrade

Running about 80% flow, had a microbubble issue and corrected with some sponge on the last baffle.

Jebao DCS 3000 upgrade

Was having tons of heat issues and lots of vibration no matter how I placed the pump. Upgraded, no more heat issues and no noise. Running the Jabao DCS 3000 for at least 2 weeks now.

IM 8 mj-900 I believe the suction cup plate can mount on the side of the pump. I had to trim the plate to fit in my nuvo, and side mount it. But no problem
