jwwoodjr
I recently received a NanoBox retro kit and installed today in a JBJ NanoCube LED Intermediate. It had 2 fans that I wired together and connected to channel 6 as advised in the build thread. The fans are not running and until they're up my light is dead in the water. The fans were working when I unplugged the hood this afternoon. As info the existing fans are 60x60 12 volt 0.12 amp. I put the meter on what I feel should be channel 6 and don't appear to be getting power. I say appear because I'm not the best with electricity. I'm hoping there is something simple I'm doing wrong and it's not a bad channel. If anybody has any ideas on what to try I'm open to suggestions. Link to comment
DaveFason
The RETRO kit does not come with fan control only on/off. If you want those fans to just stay on you can hook them up to the driver board using the the output from the SCW driver for the Bluefish power. I attached a photo to make it easier for you. NanoBoxFanBoard by David Fason, on Flickr Connect the red wire to SCW Out + and the black wire to SCW OUT Ground/- . You can also put the fans on a separate timer if you do not want to do it this way. Let me know if I can help any more! Link to comment
jwwoodjr
That explained it perfectly. I'll give it a try after church. Thanks for the help. Link to comment
