Csalt
It's been like this for a couple days now. Maybe 1/2 to 1/3 of it's normal size, curled up and color faded. It still eats when fed though. Link to comment
Csalt
It's smaller today. Wait it out or move it to direct light? Link to comment

Csalt
What does the mouth look like today? It ate mysis last night. Tentacles are still sticky. Link to comment
Mariaface
Cool. If I were you, I'd be overdosing beneficial bacteria (in case this is some kind of bacterial infection) and making sure the water quality stays superb. As long as its eating and not sloughing or anything, it should bounce back Link to comment

Suppose to do a water change on Sunday, but i'll do a small one tonight, see if that helps some. Link to comment
Mariaface
Just went through your thread - did that start around or just before the time your water went cloudy? It's possible your reading of .5ppm ammonia was right, and the 'cloudiness' was a bacterial bloom that took care of it. Do you run carbon? Anything different about the water parameters since installing the new sump? Link to comment

Anything different about the water parameters since installing the new sump? I run both carbon and GFO. Changed it last night. Don't do anything else different with the water. Dosing 2-3 drops a day of Kent Iodide. edit: I have been feeding more heavily this past week though since adding a new fish, was trying to get it to eat. Link to comment
Csalt
At night the tentacles are extended like normal and they move around a lot. Body is still smaller than normal though. When the lights turn on, everything curls up like the previous pictures. Link to comment
reefhound
I had mine react when I first added GFO, and then later on when I added too much GFO.. shut the reactor off for a day and see what happens Link to comment
FlowerMama
Make sure to not over feed. Feed once a week and they will be happy. Too much food can make it rot in their stomach and kill them. Link to comment

I was doing small amounts of mysis every couple days since it bleached, but i'll cut back. I was originally feeding once a week. Link to comment
