I'm interested in one of these for my 15g trimless tank. Is that the silencer cap I see in the pic? It looks white that's why I ask. Why are you selling it?

I used Sicce Syncra 2.0 but still need to turn the pump almost 3/4 down from full power. You can try to get Sicce Syncra 1.5.

Looks like Tunze has Sicce manufacture some of their pumps because they are the exactly the same. I have one but it's only 250 something gph which isn't enough. The one I need is $80. I am still interested but am a little leary about a potential flood. I've read of a couple circumstances where they did not restart. In one incident a small snail blocked the venturi.

 

I have also read that appropriate tubing is limited. Marine Depot is said to be a source. Sorry for all the questions but I want to make sure this is the right call.

Get it, you won't regret it. I'm using a sicce syncra 1.0 with it and it is dead silent (with the silencer of course). I've started and stopped it many times, and primes every time. If the return water volume is tuned right, this mame will prime everytime without any issue.
