squamptonbc Posted July 23, 2016 Share Posted July 23, 2016 I enjoy the programmability of the light but I don't see the reason for all the hype. I have an Aquamaxx on my 10g at half the price and the colours are great and it was easy to set up. You might want to look into Coral Compulsion par38 bulbs. They are full spectrum and dimmable. Just screw the bulb in, put it on a timer- no programming. If your tank is small- 1 of these will be good I was going to try the AquaMaxx Nemo Marine Depot has, but it never seems to be in stock when I go to buy it, so I am going to try a light off Fish Street coming from China, it was cheap enough that if it doesn't work well for the marine, it will do fine for the fish only freshwater that also needs a light.
