No but the Chromis will likely kill each other, thread fin aka blue streak cardinal fish will work better. Link to comment
Odyssey350kc
Agreed, not overstocked. I have tried chromis 3 times with no luck. Even 1 alone seems to die on me. I do have orange stripe cardinals which have been super easy and school very well. So you could try those. Link to comment
mosheikh
I wouldn't choose the chromis. What about firefish and gobies? You can look into getting a yasha/pistol shrimp combo and give your tank more of a variety. Link to comment
SunWyrm
Chalk bass are another good alternative for a schooling fish Link to comment
thestreetzking
i just got 3 chromis last week, one of them stays hidden in the rock work and acts funny at night floating vertically near the powerhead to sleep. he eats like a pig so i cant tell if hes on his way out. The other 2 school together in the open all day long. I bought them all together out of the same tank so idk whats the deal. I read a lot about people keeping up to 9 and ending up with 1 at the end of their adventure Link to comment
