How much should I be feeding?

Right now I'm feeding about one mysis cube per day along with some reef chili. Below is a picture of the tank. It has 2 percula clowns and a diamond watchman goby but also a bunch of LPS corals that I feed the mysis. I also switch up the feedings and feed frozen Reef Frenzy and just bought some PE Mysis since my Hikari cubes are about done. The clowns will eat pellets which I occasionally feed them but the goby won't touch them. What I usually do is just thaw the cube in a shot glass and use a turkey baster to target feed the corals. After that I turn the power heads on and the fish get whatever is leftover floating around.

Current Corals:

- 2 duncans (each with 4+ heads)

- 2 headed torch

- 2 headed hammer

- another 2 headed hammer

- 6 headed hammer

- massive walling hammer

- 2 acan lords with at least 8 heads each

Filtration:

- Eshopps S-120 skimmer

- Filter sock

- BRS carbon (ran out of GFO)

- Vinegar dosing

As far as feeding goes, each system is different due a number of differing factors. As long as the fish and corals are healthy and nuisance algae is minimal, it's all good.

I'm curious why you are asking. Something not quite right?

Everything is actually doing very well. When I first got the tank people kept saying that this light sucked so I always had it turned up pretty high but about 2 months ago I started turning it down and all the LPS look much fluffier and happy so I kept it very low (I think like 30-40% max). In the past week or 2 I've been feeding a bit more and the duncans have really begun to take off. For a long time they would stay closed most of the time and only occasionally would actually open up. I was just thinking that for a 20 gallon tank with 3 fish, a whole cube of mysis seemed a bit much. The clowns and goby are all pretty greedy so it isn't like the food just sits there which is good.

to give you another perspective, I have two clown fish and several snails. i feed a small pinch of hikari pellets every other day. A pinch would probably be no more than 20pcs (if that).

once a week i would give a treat of mysis to the fish. 5 pcs each roughly.

i feed on the low side as i've had issues with hairy algea in the past.

With two clowns and a lot less LPS in a 12g, I fed the equivalent of 1/2 cube + a pinch of dry daily. Each tank processes differently, export is different, etc., so as long as the system doesn't start getting 'dirty' with lots of algae, you're good.

Yea, I haven't had any issues with algae in that tank. The only thing that I get is pink bacteria colonies that grow as a result of the vinegar dosing. I have been slowly trying to dial it in and it has gotten a good bit better. While the vinegar dosing does give me bacterial goop, I would like to attribute the complete lack of algae in the display to that. Frankly, I don't think I've even changed my carbon/GFO mix in about 3 months... I'm completely out GFO so yea....

[Edit]

The pink bacteria is NOT cyano. It looks nothing like it (more of a very light and soft pink) and does not grow on the sand or rocks. Only place I get it is in the plumbing and on the power heads (I think it just gets sucked into it and stuck there).
