Pulled out 7 rocks from my IM Fusion 30L that is less than a month old. Brushed certain areas with a hydrogen peroxide in my battle with dino. Let them set a minute before rinsing and placing back I'm going to try this before I do the Blackout/peroxide treatment. We'll see.

Tan snotty looking and feeling stuff that grows in strands and releases a lot of bubbles that like to hang on the tip of each strand. That is all the description you need, with that, you'll know it if you get it.

Thank you Reef!!? I appreciate your description. Iam fighting dark purple cyano. I treated for it but it's not gone yet. Still manually removing it. Was making sure I didn't misdiagnose it. So I have a reef calamity too.

I had this and it tested cyano and dino, it was hell. For 2 mos I tried. Water changes made one worse, the other better. Not a win-win situation. Tore down the 60g shallow and sold it. So its not always brown and bubbly. It can be brown, green, purple. When I bought the stuff to remove the cyano after repeated treatments til the bottle ran out and I still had purple left. I knew I was doomed.

This sucks. I just saw a red bug on a coral. Wtf. Getting depressed. Well I looked up red bugs and the one I saw was nothing like the pictures so I'm going to forget it. I didn't mean to hijack your thread. Sorry for that.
