ClownfishReefer
Hi, so this week (thursday) i got two clownfish, a frostbite (1") and a platinum (1.5") Since yesterday the frostbite has been hiding in the rocks, and only comes out to feed... any idea why he is hiding? he also comes out at night temp 80 salinity 1.028 cal 400 alk 7 mag 1300 phosphate 0 nitrate 0 Link to comment
Ryan_E
Is the platinum beating it up? Were these two a pair at the store/vendor? If not already a pair, they could be establishing dominance, and the bigger one should be winning. Once dominance is established and the larger one becomes the dominant female, the two should then become a pair. Hopefully. If you don't think what I stated above is the case, you can also check the smaller one for any signs of disease . Also, your salinity is slightly high. Most people around here shoot for 1.024 to 1.026 Link to comment
