When is a good time to start adding corals? What is the best for starting out?

The best time to add coral is just after lunch.

 

 

JK, you can start to add coral anytime after the cycle has become established. However, I generally like to wait until after the diatom bloom has cleared up and I have a reasonable cleanup crew in place.

I waited for about a month after cycling. Started with cuc, then a fish, then easier coral like xenia.

I am more of a after breakfast kind of guy but hey that's just me

I did tank cycle, CUC then 2 Firefish. A few weeks later I added an easy coral! I would think getting a fish in would be a good plan :-) My first coral was a Xenia and it is crazy how quick it has grown! Best of luck!
