After a few years without a tank it's time to take the plunge. Would you go with 1 or 2 XR15W pro over this tank? Another option is the xr30w g3 pro. I'm not exactly sure what is in store for the tank, but don't want to be limited due to a lack of light either. I'm pretty set on using the Radion with an Apex. TIA

so you need two 15's or one 30.

 

if it were me and money was less of an issue i'd go with two 15's so i could space the pucks the way i wanted. but then again, for that money why not get a nanobox hybrid system???

My tank does perfectly fine with a single XR15 and I only run at 60% intensity. I wouldn't waste the money on two XR15s or a single XR30 IMO. Yes, the intensity will be higher in the middle of the tank, and I use the sides for my lower light corals, but still get enough penetration.
