Wade_F
Hi everyone! I recently swapped out my Oceanic BC14 for a new Coralife BC14, because the hood needed replacing and can't really find those anymore. I am just running the PC lighting, and moon light that comes with it. It seems like the moon light provides quite a bit of light to keep on all night. I was wondering if you guys that have the same system just leave the moonlight on 24 hours, or if you put it on a timer, and turn it off at some point during the night. Thanks,Wade Link to comment
seabass
I wouldn't worry about leaving it on. I've had several tanks with fairly bright night lights or security lighting that stayed on all of the time. The fish slept fine, and coral responded to the light cycles appropriately. Link to comment
Wade_F
Ok great! I just thought I would make sure, because ever since I made the change my GBTA has been moving lower and to the back of the tank. Link to comment
seabass
Hard to say exactly why it's moving. Could be any number of things: flow, daylight lighting, water quality, an irritant, etc. Link to comment
