ATI Does size really matter?

Hi,

I am going to light my reef tank with dimmable ati t5 light fixture. The reef is 37 gallons 30l x 12w x 20d.

I am wondering if a 4 bulb 24" is the way to fly or should I use a 36" 4 bulb.

My desire is to have softies and lps mostly with some select sps.

Any opinions or shared experience would be welcome

24" will be fine. I used a 24"x4 on my old shallow tank. 30"x18"x15". Never had a single issue!
