Spidas Floating spec ^ reef Now radion lit!

Hows it going nano reef is been a while since i started a thread here and after being inspired i figured i give it a go.

 

So i found a fluval speck for close to nothing in cost. I took it home cleaned it up and what do you know its in perfect condition.

 

So my research started for a nice return pump for this tank because the stock one is like 80gph if that at all. After a couple of days of no luck with no return pump i decided to go with the cobalt maxi jet 600 about 160gph so now onto gutting this sucker and make the back chamber bigger.

 

i went to a local glass shop to get a new divider made due to the increase size got a 3x7 for like $5 to and silicone it down

 

After all that was done it was time to work on the floating reef i used a acrylic rod that i actually placed in the oven at 350 till it started bending and used some mits to shape it.

 

next thing is to start gluing some rubble rock on the rod to make the scape.

Wow that was fast! Nice zoas as always.
