Newbie hoping to get into the hobby soon

Hi all, just thought I would introduce myself to the forum after lurking around in the shadows the past few days. I am pretty much a newbie to reefing other than being involved for a brief period while in high school years ago.

 

I am hoping to start a softie/lps dominated 25gal fusion lagoon soon. Planning on running a kessil A360W for lighting and throwing in an mp10 for extra flow. Lots of great advice and info on the forum and hopefully I will have a build thread of my own soon!

Sounds like you have a pretty good plan. Don't cheap out on the equipment. Sounds like you've picked some very nice stuff. Buy the best you cam afford or else you'll be wasting your money buying it twice and wishing you didn't buy the smaller cheaper one in the first place. I'm a noob too, that's the best advice I can give you from my experiences so far.

I was just looking at the IM Lagoon 25 on both Marine Depot and BRS and they are both out of stock right now, hopefully they get them back in stock soon!

my unsolicited advice: browse the TOTM threads and see what they did; dont reinvent the wheel, just duplicate it with your own modifications. work smarter, not harder.
