JCase
Recently ordered an apex unit... Is it worth the price of the probe to monitor ORP? I will not be doing ozone. But I've been trying to read up on ORP. Seems like it's not that beneficial except maybe if something dies and you see the deviation from the norm that you can go corps hunting? Thoughts on value of monitoring ORP? Link to comment
ajmckay
You should have fun with the controller... Regarding ORP I've never really thought it was something that would be very popular on nano-reef. IMO it's something more commonly seen on much much larger tanks where you can't just spend 1-2 minutes looking at the tank and get a pretty good idea of what's going on. Link to comment
WRX
http://www.reefkeeping.com/issues/2003-12/rhf/feature/ I read the above article before ordering my Apex and decided I didn't need the ORP probe. Link to comment

I've read that article as well. Just wondering like I said maybe if logging it might be beneficial. If it goes high or low to sound a warning or not. Link to comment
