SaltwaterShoup
I have a similar setup as yours... 28g reef with an open top. As far as corals go, I've had lots of success with basic softies. They're hearty and add good color to the tank. Things like mushrooms, zoas, and candy canes should do well Link to comment
Lnk89
I haven't even seen him go after any food I put in. No matter how small I make it. Maybe he is feeding from the sand. Although I haven't seen it yet. Had it for about a week and a half now. Phos, not sure I have nothing to test for it with yet. Nitrates were around 10ppm on sunday before I did a water change Clean up crew is:2X nassarius snails2X turbo snails Should I get more of a clean up crew? Link to comment
Clown79
You can add to the clean up crew. If you have algae it will help. 2 more trochus or turbo 1 more nassarius Maybe a few hermits. I prefer scarlets and halloweens myself. Link to comment
rnw124
@Lnk89 In your op you mentioned the LT LED light you were going to buy but then said you got a Current. Just curious, did you ever try the LT? Do you like the Current better? Link to comment
Lnk89
@rnw124, no I never bought it. It was still unavailable last time I checked. I ended up buying a current USA marine orbit light. Seems to work well so far. Link to comment
