Marlin's reef

So this is hopefully a build that will last..

Breif intro: ive had a few nice tanks in the past, but due to a million +1 circumstances i have never been able to keep a reef aquarium more than 2 years. I had a son a few months ago and i thought i would be staying at my current location in the caribbean for years so i built a tank for him/us to enjoy but then 4 months later i knew it was best for us if we moved to the United States. So now that weve found a nice place where we can settle down ive decided to build a Nuvo Fusion 20. I decided on the 20 because imo its not too small and not big enough to let me spend all my money on coral lol

Current equipment list:

-IM fusion 20

-IM desktop ghost protein skimmer

-IM filter sock inserts

-Smart ATO

-Apex jr

-Vortech MP10

-3 BRS 1.1ml Dosing Pumps

-6x24 ATI Sunpower

Live stuff:

20lbs dry/live rock i collected

20lbs Eden mini flakes

...not an "exciting" build thread but i hope in time it will be worth looking at :P

Thanks for reading and any suggestions will me apreciated!

Are you refering to fish and coral?

Forgot to mention the tank is not set up yet, im still missing a few odds and ends, and im figuring out exactly where i want to put it so i dont end up up having to move it later. There is a closet under the stairwell in the livingroom that might work out well if i put the tank in between maybe... so i can hide dosing pumps, ato, controller. Etc. better..hmmm

update (if anyones interested lol)

equipment added:

2 minimax IM reactors for GFO and Carbon

light is now ocean Revive led unit

salt im using now is seachem reef salt and additives are red sea reef energy and calc, alk, magnesium.

will start using acropower soon to see how it does in my tank.

its been a bit of an up and down rollercoaster for the first few months mainly because of neglecting my tank because of work but now km more settled down and hoping the tank will thrive with more TLC

havent been able to figure out how to take nice pictures/videos so..sorry for the bad quality.
