Hey guys I'm moving a couple of my coral from my Biocube 8g to my new tank. My frogspawn, GSP, and Toadstool mushroom. The new tank is the JBJ 45g. I have the 120w 16k razor LED on the tank using the mount, about 6" off the waters surface.

My question is regarding the change in lighting. Does anybody know the stock par readings for the Biocube 8g compacts?

What should my max intensity be during acclamation to the new lights?

Thanks for you input everyone !

The stock lighting on a BC8 is pretty weak, so start low on the new light. Start at about 25% and adjust from there. The corals may start demanding more light (shown by stretching towards the light), so you may have to bump things up quicker than the usual 5% per week, but taking it slow is still critical. The slower you go, the more success you will have long term acclimating the corals to higher intensities.
