DSA65PRO Posted November 26, 2019 Share Posted November 26, 2019 I have a Bubble Magnus and I hate the thing. It does a very watery skim or nothing at all. The way the pump fits with a rubber collar, there doesn't seem like there's many options for substituting the pump. You have to clean the entire Skimmer and Pump every few weeks. I have a LifeReef, I bought used. Greatest Skimmer I ever had, I only had to set it twice, will work with anyone's pump. The collection Cup holds 1-1/2 quarts, if it fills up or starts to Overflow the Skimmer action stops. Almost Three Months, the only thing I've cleaned is the collection Cup, and wiped the throat out with half a paper towel. It went a month, without cleaning, when I had surgery. I understand they have a bigger collection Cup as an option. Quote Link to comment
