Growing Chaeto

I was given one of these recessed light retrofits, I stripped it down to the emitter pcb and the heatsink.

I see that its labeled at CRI 80, 740mA 13W. Is this any good to grow chaeto with or should I just tear the pcb out too and use it as a sink for my extra leds?

I'd give it a shot and see what happens. If it doesn't seem to be bright enough then go with the stripping.
