Here7ic
Been lurking on here for a few weeks and you guys are a bad influence. Picked up this 20L yesterday. I'm hoping to have it up and running before my wife pops in July. I've had freshwater tanks since I was a kid and have always wanted a saltwater. The only things we have in tanks right now is three snakes. Getting my livestock and hardware list together so I will post that soon. Link to comment

Sk8n Reefer
sounds like a nice build........not sure about that light but you might want something stronger if you want to move into acros in the future?. There are so many light options available- research them up! Link to comment
Here7ic
I'll do some more research. Just trying to stay on a budget. I've thought about adding some macro algaes to the tank as well. Any I should avoid? Link to comment
Here7ic
In regards to the lighting is there any suggestions that are programmable and around the $100 range. Link to comment

For $100 I don't think theres a programmable light out there for a 30x12x12. You could get a dimmable fixture for $80, but programmable is going to be minimum $140. Link to comment
Elizabeth94
I've had freshwater tanks since I was a kid and have always wanted a saltwater. I am only down to one boa right now due to funding the reef tank. Link to comment

The Ocean Revive T247 is on sale today, that looks nice. But as I said, its programmable and so more than $100. Link to comment
Here7ic
Ok. Well out of everything I knew my lighting would be the priciest. Link to comment
