I'm in the process of building a new tank: IM 30L and I'm going to run a BRS dual chamber reactor since I have tons of algae problem on my current BC29. Now my question is can I mount the reactor on the back of the tank stand? I've heard where it have to be level with the tank. Need help please!!!

You can mount it to the back but then it's harder, as when you remove the media chamber it can cause the remaining water in the lines to dump onto the floor and possibly cause a siphon.

I corrected for this by purchasing an extra valve from BRS so before changing media you can close both valves as close to the reactor as possible. Then just unscrew the chamber over a bucket so the water doesn't get on the floor.

Do you know what size are the hoses? I don't have the reactor on hand right now. It's being shipped at the moment.

I believe 1/2. Call them or live chat to double check
