bob115
I've been watching the BRS 160 videos lately and the importance they place on diffuse lighting has gotten me thinking about my own lighting solution. I'm pretty invested in my current set up, so changing gears and going to a T5 LED hybrid, while probably the best solution right now really isn't in the cards. With a pure LED solution, it seems that the best way to get the more diffuse light is to make several small clusters and spread those over the tank. With that in mind, what is a good ratio of clusters to Sq. Ft. of coverage to provide the best balance of material efficiency and coverage? In my case the smallest common cluster I would make would be 1 Vero 10, 2 Luxeon M royals, 1 HV, 1 Rebel lime, and 1 OCW. Link to comment
bob115
I'm currently in a 20L, but I'm hoping to get something bigger soon. I was looking at it in a clusters per sq. ft or something way to make it applicable to more situations. Link to comment
