dandelion
This is my back up heater which is maybe a couple degrees below my main one. The main one is clean so I guess the heat keeps it away. Doesn't look like its good stuff. Looks like it only likes glass surface though. Anyone knows what it is? Link to comment

amphipod
Looks like a little algae/Cyanobacteria growth, looks more brown than white to me, either way it does no harm. Link to comment
dandelion
Oh I'm talking about the fuzz on the heater. I'm sure I can just wipe them off with a paper towel or something once I take it out. Snail eggs? Bleached coralline? Nothing a razor can't fix I think it's white on brown. Like its white fuzz growing on top of a red/brown film. Anyways it's a FOWLR for now and my fish aren't bothered by it. One of these days I'll have to set up a sump. When I was in freshwater people talk about making an overflow tube out of PVC, but it sounds like everyone uses overflow boxes in saltwater? Looks like a little algae/Cyanobacteria growth, looks more brown than white to me, either way it does no harm. Link to comment
