Garrettgomez55 Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 Cycling my 20 gallon fusion tank. So far I got Fiji pink live sand, 10 pounds of life rock and 10 pounds of live real reef rock. For lighting I'm using the AI prime led light which is pretty good so far. Future plans I want to get the ghost protein skimmer, desktop reactor, m10 power head and 2 spin streams. I have a 55 gallon reef this is my first nano tank so hoping it goes smoothly! Link to comment

bmoore92 Posted October 12, 2015 Share Posted October 12, 2015 With the mp10 I would say to pass on the spin streams. I've got an rw-4 in my Nuvo 20 and the spin streams aren't necessary. Spend that 40 bucks on some livestock after the cycle. Link to comment

Im really happy with both, the life rock it's not really live but it is sprayed with a dormant bacteria that actives when submerged in water. Even though it isn't real coralline algae it looks pretty real. Link to comment

For equipment I added innovated Marine desktop protein skimmer and Hydrofill auto top off. For live stock a branching super frogspawn, green torch and another frog spawn not to sure what kind.
