SilverBand
I am fascinated by these. Can live in deep space, rediculios hi and low temp tolerance, herbivore, and wondering it they can give the "pod" biotype a run in a reef. I will post more later but I am absolutely FASCINATED about them. Under an ectron microscope, they look like a manatee with swimming feet like a mammal, and a feeding umm... Probiscus... Like a snail. Quick Animal Planet vid about them: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SUC0_HjNFBs They go dormant for up to a hundred years (and more!) at 3% water content. Crazy. Link to comment

mystersyster
These things are super cool. Very interesting creatures. They haven't changed much in millions of years apparently. Link to comment
Nano sapiens
Miraculous creatures... I could see these being blasted from earth during a big explosion, drifting through space for a long time and then landing on some foreign world and starting a new population. Link to comment

Or landing back on earth long afterwards, re seeding the planet. Link to comment
amphipod
Amazing animals indeed. In answer to your question, they wouldn't take quite the same position as the pods, most seem to be herbivores so they would give benefits, just they aren't going to be scavenging all the fish food scraps and similar food items. mystersyster
Beetles are okay. Roaches creep me out. I think spiders are okay since they don't bother people. Link to comment
amphipod
I like spiders, they really have done nothing for me to have a grudge on them, they also kill mosquitoes for me. Link to comment
spinycheek
Ironically, tardigrades are really easy to kill when they aren't dormant. They are super cool, weird animals. Link to comment
