Help ID white "spot" on fish

I just noticed this spot on my firefish's tail fin. I noticed it about 3 days ago on my black clown's tail fin, but he has had it before several months ago on his pectoral fin and it went away within a day so I didn't think much of it this time around. Now that its on 2 fish I'm slightly concerned. It's flat and almost translucent like the fin is thinner in that spot.

I don't think anyone is going to be able to tell you what that is based on that pic. I wouldn't worry about it too much though unless it doesn't go away/you see more spots appearing. My clown goby gets pieces of sand and stuff stuck on him all the time that look like white spots. Then hours or a day or so later they're gone.
