SilverBand
Came back to Nano-Reef.com and my tank after 11 years! Updated and rewired... LED primary lighting from coralife 50/50's - you can see where they used to be mounted on inside hood pic. Tank goal is Inverts, Florida Ricordeas, and a pair of Sexy Shrimp... and resisting a goby due to bio-load . Tank Start Date: 9/5/2015 Equipment: AGA 5.5 tank, Custom built Red Oak base and hood. Computer fan in hood for air circulation and heat exchange (must have for wood hood IME). Cobalt Neo-Therm 25 watt heater. Penn plax silent air b11 for power out water circulation, TruLumen 12" Pro Marine Fusion 12k white/actinic blue + power supply, Hydor Centrifical pump 70gph with obnoxiously large mount, timer for 9 hour light, custom moonlight, custom lexan cut/drilled tank cover. Rock/Sand: Pacific Live Rock (from LFS sump), Arag-Alive Bahamas Oolite live sand, water from established LFS tank. Four (4) pounds of live rock, 1.25" sandbed depth on average. Temp/Salinity: 80.2, 1.024 Inititial Hitchhikers: two types of featherdusters, spaghetti worms, brittle stars, amphipods, copepods, sphaeromatid Isopods, 2 small vermatid snails, 3 aiptasia, maybe a few flatworms... (Sorry for spelling errors). Starting CUC: Post quick cycle, added 1 week after initial start... 2 dwarf hermits. Third week one pepermint shrimp for 3 aiptasia (Which he/she finished off on day two/ feather dusters still untouched). Nass snail coming on week four. The 25watt Eheim-Jager heater had to go... Too big and temp control issues (user error, but just too big for wattage). HELLO WORLD!!! Link to comment
