Fnard Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 So, want to add a couple 24" T5s to my Razor. Been shopping on BRS and Hellolights. They both have a similar, if not same, T5 retro kit (BRS • Hellolights). Assuming they are the same or similar, I'll go with the HL. If anyones got any suggestions regarding either of these or better lmk. Link to comment
Horerczy Posted September 13, 2015 Share Posted September 13, 2015 Nanofreak did that. Worked well. Personally I'd go with the BRS one as I recognize the HEPGroup Ballast. I'm not sure what ballast the Hellolights Unit is using. Link to comment

Just thought if I was gonna do it, might as well do it nice. But in the end, the effort just doesn't seem worth it. After doing a ton of RETROs on Sunpowers/T5 units I would stick with a good standard ballast and use the LEDs for the dimming. So seeing as though you've done a bunch of retros, got any spare end caps and 24" reflectors you want to unload? Link to comment
