BilabongAthlete
So I know that these fish are pretty aggressive but mine was just fine before I put the bubble tip in the tank. After I put the bubble tip, my maroon clownfish is way more agressive even towards me. Is this normal when putting in a bubble tip ? Link to comment
HarryPotter
It's probably more territorial of its "home", AKA the anemone Link to comment
Hig789
IME maroons are just plain aggressive anyways. How long had it been in the tank before you put the anemone in there? Might not have established it as his territory yet. But with the addition of the BTA you established it for him. I had a maroon that went through every rank upgrade with me a few years ago and he ruled the tank all the way up to my 90g. Didn't matter how big of a fish I added he beat them into submission. I loved him though, he would eat out of my hand. Link to comment
Matteo
My Maroon has a handful of tank mates in a 45g and host my hairy mushrooms, my bta, and my bubble coral. He's spoiled Link to comment
