russ722
That's awesome but $$$$ the builders gonna make the overflow I just need to decide where I want it and what design? I like the rounded corner overflow like deep blues 30g cube has but builder has never done a rounded overflow before. Link to comment
jedimasterben
Modular marine on ebay. They have several 'stock' ones available and can modify them however you wish for very little cost. The craftsmanship is sound, but you can see the seams on the outside edges on mine. Not a dealbreaker, though. Link to comment

Oh, I would say a center black overflow box. The small ones at the top are cooler, but sure the standard center is cool. Link to comment

I was looking at this one and I was a little worried that it only used one bulkhead between the overflow and the drain box. Seems like it would be a lot of pressure on the glass in one spot. I love the synergy and reef savvy ones but I don't need one that large. Although I do like the magnetic covers for the top of the overflow not worth double the price of these IMO. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=201291912999&globalID=EBAY-US Link to comment

The outer box in that listing is only 8x4x5. I had mine custom made, using two 1" bulkheads through the tank instead of one 1.5" one. The box is also a little bit wider, I think it is 9" long instead of 8", but basically the same. It's quiet, but mine is toothless and so has some water noise going into the inner box. Well you were holding it in your hand in the first picture. Nice I thought about that. Might contact them and get one with two bulkheads instead of one. One just seems kind of iffy no matter how small the box is. Link to comment
